Rex veronderstelt dat de kratten Rolf doodden; hij probeert te bedenken hoe hij hem uit het pakhuis krijgt. Hij beslist hem in zijn auto te vervoeren, als Rex Rolf op de achterbank zet, ziet Mimi hem en is benieuwd naar wat er gebeurd is. Zij denkt dat Rolf gedronken heeft, maar Rex vertelt haar dat hij dood is en het was een ongeval. Mimi flipt uit en wil agenten roepen, Rex is bang dat hij gevangen word genomen. Terwijl zij proberen om te beslissen wat te doen, horen ze lawaai van Rolf en ontdekken dat hij helemaal niet dood is, enkel onbewust.

Shawn en Belle komen bij de pier na het honkbalspel aan. Belle is nog steeds een beetje ongerust over Sami en Shawn verzekert haar dat Franse deuren haar zus niet klein krijgen. Zij begint over Philip en de ongebruikelijke reactie die hij van de andere Mariniers op de basis heeft gekregen. Shawn is niet opgewonden om over Phil te spreken, maar stelt Belle tevreden. Zij denkt dat het zeer verdacht gedrag is, Shawn denkt dat Philip enkel als een zeer goede Marinier wordt erkend en anderen naar hem op kijken. Mimi loopt langs om Rex te zoeken, maar Shawn of Belle hebben hem niet gezien. Ze verteld de twee dat ze enkel nog aan Rex kan denken. Shawn vraagt haar of zij verliefd is op hem. Mimi denkt van wel, maar heeft de woorden nog niet gezegd. Belle vertelt haar om voorzichtig te zijn, hoewel ze blij is dat zij gelukkig is. Mimi gaat verder zoeken naar rex. Shawn begint honkballen over de pier te werpen wanneer Mickey hem voor een andere taak oppiept. Belle beslist om op hem bij de pier te wachten; zij heeft een boek en zal zich vermaken. Shawn is niet lang weg wanneer Belle Philip en Tek komend uit een andere richting hoort. Zij verbergt zich achter een reusachtige pilaar om het gesprek af te luisteren. Tek hoort een lawaai en grijpt zijn kalmeermiddelpistool, hij loopt richting de schuilplaats van Belle, zij wilt opstaan en Tek schiet haar neer. Zij valt in het water en Philip springt achter haar aan. Hij waarschuwt Tek voor het schieten op zijn vriendin. Tek is niet bezorgd en verteld Philip dat ze zo zal ontwaken. Philip wil haar niet verlaten en komt overeen om Tek later te ontmoeten. Phil draagt Belle naar de bank en verlaat haar om te ontwaken, dichtbij verbergend. Belle ontwaakt enkel seconden vóór Shawn terugkomt. Hij vraagt haar of ze gezwommen heeft, Belle zegt nee en denkt dat ze erin gevallen is. Shawn gelooft het niet, ze lijkt gedesorienteerd en kan zichzelf niet de pier opgestrokken hebben. Hij beslist haar naar huis te brengen, en helpt haar te lopen aangezien ze haar balans kwijt is. Philip komt uit zijn schuilplaats gekleed in scuba-uitrusting en springt in het water.

Brady gaat naar Chloe om zich te verontschuldigen voor hun ruzie eerder die dag. Chloe is nog vastberaden om in Salem te blijven, omdat haar familie daar is. Brady wil niet dat ze haar besluit betreurt. Zij vertelt hem dat zij houdt van hem en van liefde altijd heeft gedroomd, ze heeft het nu en wil het niet het verlaten. Brady vertelt haar dat hij dit doet omdat hij van haar houdt. Zij kussen en bedrijvemn de liefde op de bank. Joy huilt boven en Chloe gaat naar haar kijken en kleedt zich om. Brady heeft een droom over de toekomst. Hij is de hoogste muziekstafmedewerker bij Titan en Chloe is thuis. Zij streefde haar operadroom niet na. Brady komt naar huis om aan te kondigen dat het meisje dat Chloe op de reis verving van Cecile Marin reusachtig is en nu een cliënt van Titan is. De emoties van Chloe tonen en Brady realiseert dat zij werkelijk haar besluit om niet naar Europa te gaan betreurde alhoewel zij jarenlang zei dat ze het niet erg vond. Chloe komt terug beneden als de droom van Brady eindigd. Zij blijven over haar besluit debatteren wanneer de telefoon gaat. Het is Nancy met groot nieuws; Craig heeft een positie op het Medische Centrum van Manhattan in New York aangenomen. De familie gaat verhuizen. Brady vertelt Chloe dat nu haar familie niet in Salem woont, zij nog steeds wilt blijven voor hem?

Marlena gaat langs bij Tony om te praten over Sami's ongeluk. Zij beschuldigt hem volledig van de ellende van haar dochter en wil hem voor altijd uit haar leven. Tony is niet volledig geschokt door deze aankondiging. In een inspanning om het onderwerp te veranderen, vertelt hij Marlena dat hij iets in de kamer van Rex heeft ontdekt en haar willen tonen. Zij is niet te praten over het binnenvallen van de privacy van haar kinderen, maar Tony informeert haar over het rare gedrag van Rex de laatste tijd en was bezorgd. Hij toont haar de blauwdrukken van het laserkanon van Rex, maar geen van beiden weet wat is het, wordt Marlena niet blij met de ontdekking en vertrekt, opnieuw tegen Tony zeggend om uit hun leven te blijven ongeacht de kinderen die ze delen.

Rex and Mimi are trying to figure out what to do with Rolf's body. They stop in the park to think, but they get questioned by a cop and Mimi is recognized from LIB. The fans encourage the duo to rollerblade with them. Mimi doesn't want to because of the body, but Rex thinks it is a good idea, just to get the students off their back. They put Rolf in rollerblades and sit him on a bench with a paper while they blade. Bart spots Rolf and sits down to talk to him, never realizing Rolf is dead. He tells Rolf that Tony isn't like Stefano, everything is different, mainly Tony doesn't want Rolf around. Bart gives a heartfelt goodbye to his friend and leaves. Rex and Mimi come back after ditching the fans and put Rolf back in the car, still undecided about what to do.

Shawn and Belle are at the Brady Pub. He is still worried about her, but she assures him she is fine. They eat clam chowder and chocolate cake, courtesy of Caroline. Shawn fills Belle in on his new assignment from Mickey, to interview a new client, Maya, a young art dealer, that evening in Mickey's office. Cassie interrupts them, she wants to sit down with them to rest her ankle, but Belle tells her to sit elsewhere because they want to be alone. She pouts and walks off, soon recovering when she spots a cute guy alone at a table. Shawn doesn't want to leave Belle, she tells him to go and to call her after the interview and fill her in. He shows her a brochure from Maya's gallery; it includes a picture of the young woman. Belle appears to be uneasy after seeing how pretty the woman is. Shawn gives Belle a kiss and leaves. She finishes her cake and begins to leave when Cassie comes up to her. Belle doesn't want to talk, but Cassie is persistent. Cassie tells Belle that she doesn't know what kind of hunk she has, Belle knows what kind of guy she has, one that won't give Cassie the time of day.

Philip watches Belle and Shawn through the Pub window, Cassie tries to proposition him in joining her for a drink, but he turns her down. Tek shows up with a new assignment for Philip, attending his father's party, with a date to observe the guests. Philip doesn't want to do it at first, feeling he was given the job to watch his father. Tek assures him that it isn't his father, but the guests that may be there. Because his father could be in danger, Philip agrees to the mission. He decides to ask Belle to join him as his date.

Larry agrees to Nicole's proposal. He will kill Victor in turn for his freedom, but he would also like to have Nicole in the deal. She reluctantly agrees, Larry samples the "merchandise" and likes what he sees and feels. Nicole is disgusted, but knows what is at stake. Larry tells her he'll do it on his terms and kisses Nicole full on the lips.

Bo and Hope were budgeting to purchase a vehicle for their bounty hunting. Bo finally convinced a disappointed Hope to sell the Fancyface II, and they spent a last romantic night on the boat.

Nicole and Larry discussed arrangements on getting him out of jail and killing Victor. Deciding on a plan to make it appear as though Welch had died, it was left to Nicole to find a body that could pass for Larry's.

Rex and Mimi were getting more frightened having Rolf's body in the car, with no solution as to who to tell or how to dispose of Rolf. At Mimi's suggestion, they finally planted the body in the University Hospital Morgue labeled as "John Doe." No sooner had the two left, but Nicole appeared - disguised as a nurse - on her quest for a corpse.

Chloe was still confused about her decision when she overheard him in conversation. Brady said there was no opportunity at The Blue Note for her kind of talent but if she chose to stay in Salem, he couldn't stop her. Getting advice and encouragement from another singer at the Club, she began to realize Brady's intentions were out of love - but she was finally convinced when Philip spoke to her - at Brady's request.

Philip and Brady watched as Chloe announced a last-minute change to her farewell performance. But it was a tearful Brady who echoed her words as he listened to the dedicated song - "I'm everything I am, because you love me."

Mimi and Rex return from dropping Rolf off at the morgue. Rex tells Mimi how much he appreciated her help today. Rex and Mimi start to make love for the first time but Tony interrupts them. As Mimi hides between the sheets, Rex is confronted in the hallway by Tony, who admits he's found Rex's laser. Rex tells Tony he created a laser that makes diamonds. Intrigued, Tony tells Rex to keep this information to himself. After Tony leaves, Mimi and Rex start to make love.

Earlier, Tony visits Sami but leaves, uncomfortable, after she wakes. He later interrupts Cassie making a play for Lucas. Lucas rejects Cassie saying she's a little girl who's not ready for a guy like him.

After okaying it with Shawn, Belle agrees to attend Victor's party with Philip. Tek gives Philip the details of the night's mission. The ISA wants Philip to keep an eye out for Maya, the successful art/antiques dealer. Belle becomes suspicious when she finds Tek and Philip together, but they cover, saying Tek has come to give Philip his dress blues. Tek equips Philip with a communicator, and Philip and Belle, dressed to the nines, head out for the party.

Shawn arrives at Mickey's office to take Maya to a meeting. Maya comes on to Shawn and invites him to a party that evening, but he politely puts her off.

Also, Bo and Hope reminisce about past experiences on the Fancy Face as they prepare the boat for sale. They later decide to give the boat one last hurrah and visit the cabin on the island. They set sail.

Nicole finds a John Doe that will suit her plan. It's none other than Rolf, who Rex and Mimi dropped off at the morgue earlier. She manages to get Rolf to the Kiriakis Stables where Victor almost catches her.

Still trying not to sell the Fancyface - Hope offered her trust fund to finance their bounty hunting business. But Bo's reasoning made her realize she had everything as long as she had Bo, and agreed to sell the boat.

Nicole was having a one-way conversation with Rolf's body as she put him on ice in the stables. But she was surprised to find Brady listening just outside. Suspicious about a sound coming from the stall, Brady ended up with a torn shirt as Nicole stopped him. When he accidentally tore her dress in turn - Victor walked in. Relatively satisfied with their excuses, Victor left them. The two accused one another of knowing nothing about love. Nicole offered to help Brady forget Chloe with a little booze - and Brady called Nicole a whore for marrying Victor for his money.

At University Hospital, Roman expressed surprise that Kate was standing by him despite her ill feelings towards Sami. Finding Lucas in Sami's room, Roman tried to calm Sami down as she realized she couldn't speak. Outside her room, Kate tried unsuccessfully to make Lucas understand that Tony might eventually turn on him. Arriving to see his sister, Rex was challenged by Roman - who couldn't understand Rex's interest in Sami. Mimi overheard Roman telling Kate that he didn't like Rex. At Sami's bedside, Mimi told Rex what she'd heard while Sami appeared to be sleeping.

Afterwards - as they spent time outdoors, Mimi was about to make a wish on a star - when Rex offered her one - a large unpolished diamond, saying he wanted her to become part of his life.

Belle waits for Philip outside of the Kiriakis mansion, while Philip coordinates with John and Tek in a surveillance van. Philip will keep in touch with John via an earpiece. At the party, Philip asks Belle to pull Tony aside in a conversation. Philip then follows Maya to the study where Victor warns her about Tony. Victor catches his son spying, but Philip covers. As Victor moves into the study for a tête-à-tête with Maya, Philip crawls up into a crawlspace to eavesdrop through an air duct. He is soon dismayed to discover Belle followed him. He tries to get her out of there, but her dress gets snagged. Philip can't rip the dress to free her without drawing Tony and Maya's attention. Belle is shocked when Philip tells her to take off her dress!

Earlier, Cassie argues with Belle, furious that Belle is dating Philip. Belle insists they're just friends, but Cassie thinks Belle is leading Shawn on. Cassie decides to teach Belle a lesson. She learns Belle is supposed to meet Shawn at Lookout Point. Cassie surprises Shawn and propositions him!

Brady changes his mind, decides to attend Victor's party. At the door, he overhears Victor calling Nicole a murderess. Victor covers smoothly. When Nicole slips out of the party, Brady follows her to the stables and almost catches her tending to Rolf's corpse. Nicole panics. The only way she can cover is by stunning Brady with a deep kiss! Brady pulls back, disgusted, and tells Nicole to get her life together. Angry, Nicole briefly contemplates using Brady's body instead of Rolf's. Later, Victor asks Brady to move into the mansion so he won't be alone. Spying Nicole, Brady agrees. Nicole reacts, unhappy. We learn later that Victor engineered getting Chloe out of Salem and away from Brady.

Shawn is stunned when he finds out Bo and Hope are selling the Fancy Face, but realizes it's best for Bo and Hope. After Shawn leaves for Lookout Point, Bo and Hope relive some of those memories in an emotional montage. They make love.

Mimi and Rex have made love for the first time. Mimi is in heaven, especially when Rex says he loves her. Mimi loves him too! Rex sings her praises. Mimi feels like the luckiest girl in the world! (if she just didn't feel so guilty about that dead body they ditched in the morgue...)

Nicole is determined to keep Brady out of the stables and out of her house. She finds him swimming in the pool and lets him know, in no uncertain terms, that he is being in appropriate and she doesn't want him living in the mansion. Brady pretty much tells her to deal with it, Victor invited him and he is staying. Nicole gets a phone call from Larry letting her know that he is moving to the maximum prison the next day and gives her the number of a guy that can help her move Rolf's body. Brady overhears her mention the stables and prepares to find out what she is hiding. Nicole panics and jumps in the pool, yelling for Brady to save her. He knows she can swim and is just goofing, but his nice guy conscience comes into play and he jumps in to "save" her. Once Nicole gets on hard ground, Brady returns to his original mission and the stables. Nic tries to get him to stop claiming she hurt her ankle, but he doesn't buy it. He gets to the stables and looks around, but not finding anything. Just as he begins to open the door where Rolf is laying, Nicole stops him. Brady again asks her what she is hiding, she admits he caught her and prepares to tell her secret.

Belle's dress gets caught as she follows Philip, he tells her that the only way is to unzip the dress and she can crawl out of it. Belle isn't happy about the situation but is claustrophobic and agrees. She is embarrassed to be seen in her skimpy slip, Philip notices her attire and she turns her head. Belle tries to get comfortable in the small area and hits the air vent; Tony and Maya hear the noise and wonder what it is. Philip suggests they go back inside and leave the party. They sneak down the stairs and are almost caught by Victor. Belle hides in the closet; Philip explains his dirty shirt to his father by lying about his car breaking down. Victor continues searching for Nicole and Philip finds Belle in the closet. Once again they are almost spotted by leaving party guests. They both hide in the closet. Belle wants to know what is going on, Philip admits that he is on a classified mission and can't tell her anything else. He does emphasize that she cannot tell Shawn anything. She isn't happy about lying to Shawn, but agrees since she trusts Philip. When the coast is clear, Philip opens the door to find a jacket for Belle. Shawn appears on the other side in time to see them both walking out of the closet. Belle is in her slip and Philip in a dirty t-shirt.

Cassie tries to get Shawn to have sex with her; she doesn't understand why he won't. He explains that he loves Belle, not her, and will never have sex with her. He has no feelings for her and can't figure out what to say to her so she will leave him alone. Cassie tells him that she can have any guy she wants. "But not me" Shawn replies. She gets mad and flounces off. At the pier she spots a good-looking young man standing alone watching the water. She approaches him, he asks if she is looking to score, "I don't take drugs, but you can score with me." She suggests the go somewhere else, Toby offers her money and then hand cuffs her wrists, arresting her for prostitution.

Victor and Tony are separately in business with Maya. Each know about the other, but pretend not to know. Victor and Maya have an antiquities shipment business; Tony and Maya are using Victor's ship for their stolen jewels business. Victor warns Tony to be careful around Maya; Victor warns Maya to be careful around Tony. Neither heed is advice. Maya makes it clear to Tony that she has her eye on a young, eligible man, that isn't interested in her yet; but she is working on it...Could it be Shawn?

At Kiriakis Mansion, Shawn walked out when Belle explained about being with Philip without her dress - but not mentioning the ISA work. Moments later he returned with his jacket to cover her - accepting the explanation. While the two decided to take a swim in the Kiriakis pool, Maya watched from inside.

At the stables, Brady still tried to find out what Nicole was up to - While she maintained a cover, she claimed that Victor was making her a victim. The two called a truce before Victor came in, belittling Nicole with remarks and accusations.

At the Salem PD, Cassie was brought in on a charge of solicitation for prostitution. Not wanting Tony to find her there, she called Rex while Roman called Marlena. Roman stressed that jail would be tough love for Cassie. But Marlena wasn't convinced recalling Cassie's fear of being confined. Feeling helpless, Marlena called Mickey for Cassie's legal defense. Meanwhile, Rex was privately telling Cassie that Roman was their biological father.

As the Kiriakis party was winding down, Maya offered Philip a plan to work with her so he could have Belle and she could get Shawn, but Philip refused. Maya also failed coming between Belle & Shawn when she attempted to join them in the pool. And in a jail cell, Cassie tried to sleep while having flashbacks of her childhood confinement.

John and Philip meet on the dock to discuss last night's mission. Philip says he thinks he can get more info on Maya by using a friend. John initially thinks he means Belle and is against it, but Philip explains that he was thinking of Shawn. John approves, but warns Philip not to tip his hand, and not to further involve Belle. They also discuss the fact that it is possible that Victor could be involved in this diamond smuggling, and Philip assures John that he can bring down his own father if he has to. Meanwhile, while Belle is waiting in the pub for Shawn, who's late for a breakfast date, Shawn is trapped in Mickey's office with Maya, who's coming on to him big time. Shawn extracts himself and finally hooks up with Belle. Later, while Belle talks to John, Philip tries to pump Shawn for info about Maya. Shawn thinks Philip's trying to make trouble between Shawn and Belle, and things get a little tense. After Philip steps away, Shawn tells Belle about his weird conversation with Philip. Belle corners Philip and demands to know what's going on.

Tony finds Lucas in Sami's ICU room, and both are surprised to see each other. Wrongly believing that Sami is fast asleep, Tony instructs Lucas to go down to the docks and spy on Maya as she arranges the shipment of the diamonds, as Tony doesn't trust her. After Lucas leaves, Sami pretends to wake up. Tony is trapped, as Sami glares at him, struggles to communicate. Much to Tony's chagrin, Sami writes a message to Tony: go to hell.

Rex comes to Cassie's jail cell. She's freaked out - not from having spent the night in jail, but from what Rex told her last night re: Tony and Marlena not being their parents and Roman being their father. Rex swears it's true, and explains how he found out. Despite Rex's attempts to comfort her, Cassie's world is crumbling. Meanwhile, Kate comes to see Roman at the office, and he tells her about Cassie's arrest - and that after she was brought in, she tried several times to call Lucas. Kate freaks that Lucas is being drawn further into the DiMera web, and vows to stop it. Later, Cassie is brought to Roman's office before her arraignment. Cassie takes one look at Roman and blurts: my father! Rex is terrified that the cat may be out of the bag, but Roman thinks Cassie is asking for Tony. Rex drags her out of the office. Kate wonders about their odd behavior. Roman comments that he has a gut feeling there's more going on with those kids than they know...

Brady is moving into the Kiriakis mansion. Nicole has a clandestine meeting in the stables with Russell Washington, one of Larry's henchmen, who's come to move Rolf's body and carry out the plan to spring Larry. Brady stumbles upon them in the barn, and mistakenly believes Nicole is having an affair with the guy. Nicole denies but is stunned when instead of reading her the riot act, Brady says he wouldn't blame her if she was, given the way Victor's been treating her. Brady goes and Russell and Nicole succeed in moving the body. Later, Brady returns to the stables and finds the trough of ice, and wonders what the hell Nicole is up to.

While waiting for Vin Ramsell's arraignment, Bo was infuriated to learn that the D.A. was reducing Ramsell's sentence for turning State's evidence. Meanwhile, Hope was telling Alice about plans to sell the Fancyface. Advising Hope that the bad economy caused a loss of her trust fund, Mrs. Horton offered to make them a loan - but Hope refused. While Hope told Bo about their lack of funds, Ramsell called from jail - threatening Bo's life.

As Larry Welch was being transferred to another jail, the transport car was forced to stop for a woman's body on the road. As the guards assisted a well-disguised Nicole, Larry was escaping the car according to a synchronized plan. Moments later the car exploded, and as the guards checked the wreckage, Larry, Nicole and the henchman were driving away, planning Victor's demise.

At Brady's Pub, Belle told Philip her suspicions of his activities but could learn nothing. Discussing it later with Shawn, Belle learned of both Cassie's and Maya's interest in him. Belle said she felt nothing for Cassie. Intending to follow Philip, Belle left the pub, unaware that Shawn had followed her to the docks where Maya was inspecting a shipment.

At the DiMera Mansion, Cassie arrived home where Tony learned of her arrest for prostitution - furious that she hadn't called him. Later, Lucas's report about Maya's diamond shipment - part of which she had sent to Cayman - confirmed Tony's suspicions that she was working for someone else. When Lucas asked what Tony & Maya were planning to buy with the diamonds, Tony mysteriously replied, "Eternity."

Tony offered Rex assistance with his laser experiment - provided that Rex make the diamonds for Tony. Delighted with Tony's pride in his son - and the proposition of being part of the DiMera Family business, Rex embraced Tony, addressing him as "Dad." Later, Rex explained to Mimi that he had no intention of revealing Roman's paternity but wanted to know who his mother is - so he can bury the truth. Believing he was created by the DiMeras for the DiMeras, Rex felt he was fulfilling Tony's desire to have a son.

Nicole brings Larry back to the mansion and hides him in the barn, he isn't happy, but she tells him that there is nowhere else, she'll get him a gun as soon as possible. Victor and Brady spot Nicole leaving the house with a blanket and some food for Larry, she covers by explaining the items are for the horses. Larry makes her set up his hiding place; she gives in and arranges the feed bags so he won't be seen. Nicole storms in the house and upstairs, Victor wonders what is going on and goes to look for her, he wanders into the stables, just missing Larry in hiding in one stall. Brady finds Nicole ... in his shower. Brady thanks Victor for letting him live in the mansion. Victor tells him that he is more than welcome and Chloe can visit anytime when she is on a break from her singing tour.

Sami summons Lucas to the hospital. She asks him to keep Will until she can go home. Lucas doesn't think she should leave until she is completely better, at least at the hospital there is someone all the time to assist her. Tony walks in and offers to help, but blames Sami for her misfortune. She tries to attack him, but Lucas calms her down. Marlena arrives and tells Tony to stay away from Sami; she wishes he would leave Cassie alone too. Marlena informs Lucas that Sami needs her rest and asks him to leave as well. She tells Sami that she can move into the penthouse, and Will too, while she recovers, however, Sami wants to go home and won't give in to any other options. Marlena concedes.

Philip follows Maya onto a ship and to a room full of crates. Philip doesn't realize Belle is following him until she demands to know what he is doing. He is mad that she is there and tells her to be quiet. Maya opens one of the crates and pulls out a small box, it contains glass vials with a red liquid, unfortunately, Belle makes a sound outside and Maya drops the vial, she immediately runs out of the room. Shawn has followed Belle, but gets into trouble himself when one of Maya's men finds him and pulls a gun. Shawn hits the guy and knocks him out, he finds Belle and Philip in time to see Philip looking at a vase, and discovering diamonds hidden in the bottom. All three hear Maya coming and they hide. Shawn realizes Belle and Philip are in trouble, he phones Maya and, much to his chagrin, invites her to the Brady Pub so they can talk business. She accepts eagerly and heads out the door. Her man recovers from his fight with Shawn and informs Maya of someone sneaking around, she tells him to start looking in the room she just left. The man hears Belle and forces her out; luckily Philip comes behind him and knocks him out once more. As they rush out the door, another henchman is waiting with his own gun. Maya and Shawn find a table at the Pub. Maya thinks that Shawn is there for reasons other than business. Knowing this is the only way to help his girlfriend and best friend, he "admits" she is right and he would like to get to know her better and spend time with her. Maya suggests they go somewhere more intimate. John is at the Pub and calls Tony for a meeting. When Tony arrives, John points out Maya and Shawn and tells Tony that he knows all about his connection with Maya.

Cassie wants Tony's lawyer to drop the charges against her and to put the book to Roman. Tony refuses, telling her he won't do it; this has to play out on its own. Rex asks Mimi to help him find his real mother. Using her experience as a candy striper, he asks her to find all the Caucasian women between the ages of 35-55, because Mimi loves him she agrees. Cassie stops her on the way out, Mimi doesn't pull any punches and tells her that community service is good, but hope she doesn't have to clean Salem High toilets and also tells her that she is too mean to people. Cassie admits that she can get mean and the only person that likes her is Rex. She believes Tony only likes her because he thinks she is his daughter. Cassie thinks Marlena, even though she isn't her real mom, is the best mother she could ever hope for. Lucas comes in the living room as Mimi heads to the hospital. Cassie is having a drink and Lucas helps himself. He notices Cassie is upset; he puts the alcohol down and beings to kiss Cassie.

Maya's henchmen threaten Philip and Belle's lives on board the ship. They manage to get away when Philip uses a tear gas infused wallet, but the henchmen track them down. A fight ensues in which Belle is injured. As Philip fights to stay alive, Belle recovers in the nick of time and uses a cargo hook to knock out his attacker. Philip and Belle desperately search for a way off the ship. As the net closes in, the only alternative to capture is jumping through a porthole and swimming to shore. Belle finds herself yet again half naked with Philip as they make their escape.

At the Brady Pub, Shawn meets Maya and is evasive when Maya suggests they go someplace more private. He covers his nervousness by claiming Belle's father is seeing them together. He wouldn't want Belle to find out he's seeing Maya before he's had a chance to talk to Belle. As Shawn leaves with Maya, he has to dodge questions from John. At the Blue Note, Shawn furtively leaves a message for Belle, but is caught by Maya. He successfully covers, but Shawn soon feels the heat as Maya licks chocolate off his fingers.

Meanwhile, at the Brady Pub, John confronts Tony about Maya, who he claims is simply an antiquities dealer. Maya and Tony have a veiled conversation about the diamond shipment being ready to go. Back at the mansion, Tony informs Rex and Lucas that Maya is double-crossing him, forcing Tony to speed up the process of creating faux diamonds. He will transport Rex's laser personally to his South American facilities. With the money he makes, he will be able to purchase something mysterious which will change all their lives forever.

Rex continues his harangue against the fate that has revealed he is not a DiMera. Being a DiMera means everything to him. He touches base with Mimi, who is investigating the DNA database to track down his mother, and Tony arrives to tell him he is proud of him.

Meanwhile, Lucas pulls away from Cassie after she makes it clear she wants to go to bed with him. Longing to belong to someone, Cassie gets drunk and picks up a man at the Brady Pub, but John stops him from taking advantage of her. Cassie lashes out at John and blurts that Marlena is not her mother!

Nicole scrambles to cover with Brady about why she's in his shower and how she got covered in mud. She drops her towel, hoping a look at her luscious body will distract Brady. Instead, Brady gently admonishes Nicole for using her body when she has so much more to offer. Nicole visits Larry who threatens to bolt without murdering Victor unless Nicole has sex with him. Empowered by what Brady said to her earlier, Nicole puts Larry back in line. Back at the mansion, she apologizes to Brady for her behavior, claiming she acts out because she's bored. Nicole impulsively begs him to ask Victor if she can go with Brady to the Blue Note. Touched by her needy desperation, Brady will see what he can do.

At University Hospital, Sami dreamt of Tony approaching her bed causing her to run to Lucas for refuge. When she woke, she asked Marlena to have Lucas come.

At Brady's Pub, John misinterpreted Cassie's remark that Marlena wasn't her mother - thinking she meant Marlena hadn't raised her. Sensitive to her feelings, John offered encouragement about Marlena's love for the Twins. Reminding Cassie that she was cared about, John insisted that she go to see Marlena.

At the docks, John answered Philip's call and arrived to hear Belle asking how her father was involved with ISA work. John shocked Belle when he admitted being a spy. At the mention of Maya's name, Belle recalled Shawn was meeting with Maya - and left to warn him about her. At the Blue Note, Maya was challenging Shawn for not breaking up with Belle. Just as he told Maya he would, Belle approached the table. Speaking privately, the two argued - Belle about Maya - and Shawn about Philip.

At the DiMera Mansion, Tony was planning with Lucas to bring Rex's laser onto his yacht, and clone the diamonds, when Lucas received the call to see Sami. Tony accompanied him to the hospital, but before Lucas went in - Sami woke to find Tony standing over her bed. Although Sami let him know he wasn't welcome, Tony reminded her she hadn't seen the last of him. When Lucas came in, he was surprised that Sami wanted him close to her. After showing him a message of "You saved me", she surprised Lucas further putting her head on his shoulder.

No sooner had Bo & Hope gotten their new vehicle but Bo received a call with a new bounty lead. But in trying to apprehend them, they were overcome by a number of thugs. Forced to surrender their guns, they were chained together with little hope of escape.

John's call to report Philip to the ISA for involving Belle was interrupted when Philip produced some smuggled diamonds. Additionally, Philip had found vials of an unknown substance - possibly chemical or biological. And at the DiMera Mansion, Tony had a visit from Maya - delivering a similar vial of the same substance.

Jesse and his perps leave Bo and Hope chained together with car exhaust beating down on their faces. Bo and Hope wiggle out of their chairs, then use oil to slip out of their bonds. As they bust out of the garage, they learn that Jesse's taken off with their new hybrid SUV. Now, Bo and Hope are out for blood.

In the Blue Note, Shawn reveals that he, too, was on the ship watching Belle and Philip. He explains that he invited Maya out so that Belle and Philip would not be noticed. Belle is relieved, but Shawn demands to know what she and Philip were up to. She finally tells Shawn that it's Philip's secret. She can't tell Shawn. Shawn tells Belle he understands, and Belle realizes she has the best boyfriend in the world.

Kate and Roman interrupt Sami and Lucas as they hug each other tenderly. Kate takes Lucas aside, demanding to know if he's falling for Sami? Lucas vehemently denies. Roman is also taken aback by Sami's change in attitude toward Lucas. After Kate and Roman leave, Lucas angrily tells Sami to stop playing whatever game she's playing. But later, uneasy, Lucas returns to Sami's room. Lucas tells Sami he loves her and they look like they will make love. It turns out it was only Lucas' fantasy. He leaves the hospital, still upset, without talking to her.

Also, Brady and Nicole go to the Blue Note. Larry calls Nicole asking for a gun. Brady overhears part of the conversation, but Nicole covers, claiming she is talking to a contractor. Impressed by Nicole's ideas for the Blue Note, Brady offers Nicole a job as the manager. After Brady insists he can get Victor to agree, Nicole, thrilled, accepts the offer. To Brady's surprise, she also asks for a $200 advance.

Kate and Roman go to the Blue Note after interrupting the moment between Sami and Lucas. Roman tells Kate he doesn't want her son, Tony's henchman, anywhere Sami. Kate takes offense, saying Sami's no saint either. Both agree to table the discussion and move on to kissing and more.

At the DiMera Mansion Lucas fantasized about Sami coming on to him only to realize it was Cassie's voice he was hearing. Before leaving with the laser, Tony assigned Lucas to keep an eye on Cassie while he was away - but later asked Bart to keep an eye on Lucas. Tony entrusted the vial of unidentified liquid to Bart to send for lab analysis. Rex was put off a bit when Tony wouldn't answer his questions about it. It was then that Rex warned Tony of the laser's capability to cause an earthquake if misused.

Home at last, Sami was convinced by Marlena not to seek retribution on Tony. Hearing from Lucas that Sami was home alone, Tony paid her a visit. Saying she was tougher than the large diamond he'd brought her, he expressed hope for healing some day.

At the Kiriakis breakfast table, Nicole announced - without Victor's consent - that she would be helping manage the Blue Note. Seeing Larry outside the window, she was quick to leave as Brady read the news about Larry's supposed death. Brady was curious at Victor's over-protective nature toward his wife, just as Victor was curious at Brady's interest in her. But touched by Brady's caring for his grandfather, Victor conceded to letting Nicole work with Brady.

Brady left the Kiriakis Mansion to see Nicole leaving by car. He followed her to a secluded area where he watched as she was buying a gun from a stranger. At Marlena's office, John gave his wife the news that was leaving on an ISA assignment. Marlena guessed it had to do with Tony.

At the DiMera Mansion, Rex waited for DNA results from the hospital records Mimi had obtained for him. Downstairs, Cassie sweetly intimidated Lucas - warning he would regret saying 'no' to her, until he finally agreed. And on the DiMera Yacht, Tony was securing the laser - unaware that John was on the boat, too.

Lucas and Cassie go to the Dew Drop Inn, she turns off her cell phone so no one can bother them. Things become hot and heavy between the duo when Cassie gets a feeling her twin is trying to talk to her through their psychic like abilities. Lucas gets slightly turned off until Cassie reassures him that she is where she wants to be. They are eventually between the sheets. Rex learns that Kate Roberts is the biological mother of him and Cassie. Mimi tries to smooth things by complimenting Kate on her personality and telling Rex of the brothers and sister he now has. He realizes that Cassie could possibly be with Lucas, her new half brother and tries to find her with his mind. His premonition tells him where she is and what room she is in. Mimi and Rex arrive at Room 4 and he busts down the door to find Lucas and Cassie in bed with only the sheets to cover them.

Sami plans a nice dinner for her, Will and Lucas. Kate and Roman stop by to give her a gift, a bell she can ring when she needs assistance. Will asks Sami if he can go visit his friend until dinner is ready, he leaves and Roman asks who the dinner is planned for, Sami doesn't respond, but tries to get them to leave. Roman gets a phone call that leaves Kate and Sami alone together. Kate is sincerely happy that Sami is getting better, but also lets her know that any scheme she has planned won't work. Sami gets mad and starts ringing the bell in Kate's face, which brings Roman back into the living room to calm the women down. Mimi arrives and asks if anyone has seen Lucas because Rex is looking for Cassie. Kate is highly amused that Lucas stood up Sami so he can be with Cassie. Kate and Roman leave as Sami feigns tiredness. Roman is worried about Sami, especially since Lucas didn't show up, Kate wonders why he is so concerned since neither one wants Lucas and Sami together.

Brady follows Nicole to the alley and watches her transaction of the gun. He comes up behind her asking what is going on, she yells at him for following her and lies and her whereabouts. Brady informs her that he was looking for her to tell her that she can work with him at The Blue Note, Victor agreed to the arrangement. Brady leaves and Nicole heads to the stables and Larry. She finds Larry asleep and kicks him in the foot to wake him up. She is unhappy because the gun doesn't have a silencer, but she can't get everything. Larry also informs her that the gun isn't loaded, she needs to find bullets. Nicole begins to get nervous, she doesn't want anyone to track the gun back to her and buying bullets in a store could get her caught. She goes back to the mansion to look for any stray bullets, once again, Brady comes up behind her demanding to know what she is looking for. They are arguing as Victor walks in wanting to know of the conversation.

Bo and Hope are eating at the Brady Pub. They get a call from Tommy, that Jesse is trying to sell their SUV. Bo informs Hope that the Fancy Face is sold, she is mad because they were going to do it together, but Bo got an offer he couldn't refuse and wanted to save Hope from any more heartbreak over the selling of their boat. Victor comes in to the Pub and breaks the news of Larry's death to the Bradys. They are happy and relived, just hoping it is true. Hope takes Zack upstairs while Bo and Victor talk awhile. Victor heard about their new job and wonders why Bo never asked him for money. Bo told him that he doesn't want to take anything from anyone; if it doesn't work out they can reassess their jobs and do something else.

Rex and Mimi find naked Cassie and Lucas in bed together, and it looks like they have committed incest! Lucas is furious at the interruption, and he and Rex almost come to blows. Rex finally gets through to Cassie, who asks Lucas to leave them alone. Rex breaks the devastating news to Cassie...Kate Roberts is their biological mother...and Cassie just had sex with her half-brother! Cassie reels from the bombshell. Finally, she tells Rex that she did not go all the way with Lucas. Rex and Mimi are very relieved, but we see Cassie is traumatized by this news. Rex warns Cassie... don't tell anyone, even Lucas, the truth. Rex wants them to stay DiMeras. Rex worries what Cassie will do as she races out.

Sami is devastated that Lucas stood her up. She writes him a nasty note. Lucas arrives home, and Sami attacks him. He didn't know about their supposed date - Will must have forgotten to give him the note -- but Sami calls him a liar. He was out with Cassie tonight. Just when Lucas tells her whom he spends his time with is his business, Cassie interrupts them. She tells Lucas it's over. She never wants him to touch her again - he makes her sick! Lucas is totally thrown, but Sami is privately pleased.

Roman and Kate come across Philip at the Brady Pub. They discuss their various children. Kate hates to think that Lucas is involved with Cassie DiMera. But at least he's not with Sami. Roman is offended. They finally agree to not speak of their children at all.

Victor and Brady catch Nicole searching for bullets. Nicole has to cover, says she's planning a surprise for Victor, but refuses to give him any hint. Meanwhile, Larry loses patience. He goes out to get bullets for the gun. Nicole panics, but when he returns with the bullets, Larry and Nicole conspire to kill Victor...tonight.

Shawn and Belle meet with Philip at the pub. Philip tries to cover his activities, but Shawn forces the truth out of him. Shawn is furious when he learns that Philip is investigating Tony DiMera. He could have gotten Belle hurt! Belle is annoyed when it becomes clear that the guys don't think she can handle herself. She storms out. Shawn agrees to track Maya for Philip, but he's uneasy, as Philip insists that they leave Belle out of the loop. Later, Brady surprises Belle by offering her his old loft to live in. Belle loves the idea, invites Philip and Shawn over. Shawn apologizes to Belle and they kiss, leaving Philip feeling like the third wheel

At the Kiriakis Stables, Larry and Nicole went over plans to kill Victor. Inside the Mansion, Brady was irritating Victor with questions and observations about what appeared to be a bad marriage. Nicole interrupted to invite Victor to meet her for a "surprise" by the pool.

At the Echelon Club, Bo and Hope were undercover trying to recover their stolen SUV and the thief. Meanwhile, Cassie was trying to get a job there as a hostess. Upon being hired, she was delighted at the thought of being popular - not quite realizing what she was getting involved in.

At Sami's apartment, Sami's statement that Cassie had dumped Lucas angered him so that he threw her writing board aside. Reminding her of past deeds to hurt him, Lucas reduced her to tears wishing she wasn't Will's mother. But when her throat wounds began to bleed through the bandages, Lucas was reminded of the accident. Retaining his composure, he helped Sami, and left her with an "I'm sorry" on her board.

At the Kiriakis Mansion, Nicole watched from her window waiting for Victor to arrive at the pool when she heard him upstairs. Curious about the surprise for Victor, Brady had strolled outside. Mistaken for his grandfather in the dark, Brady was shot by Larry.

On the DiMera Yacht, John tripped a fire alarm to cause a distraction. While Tony left his cabin to investigate the alarm, John searched the cabin finding the laser - and inadvertently, the bomb inside the fruit basket. Tony's anger at finding John in his cabin, cost them valuable time as John convinced him there was bomb on board. Seconds after they left the cabin, the bomb exploded.

Tony and John, unconscious, are trapped in a submerged section of Tony's yacht. Tony saves John's life. They take turns diving down, looking for a way out. Later, when Tony has been gone too long, John dives down and saves Tony, who had been trapped below. They realize there's no way out... they're trapped and slowly running out of air. They realize their old animosities won't help in this situation.

Meanwhile, Shawn visits Maya in her office (on a spying expedition for Philip). He overhears her getting the news that the bomb was delivered to the boat, but Maya covers. Maya plays it very close to the vest, reveals nothing, and continues to flirt big time with Shawn. Shawn leaves, frustrated not to have gotten any information. Maya's pleased when she gets a call telling her the bomb's gone off and Tony's yacht is sinking.

At Echelon, Hope is concerned that Tommy found Bo's earpiece in the parking lot and Jesse, the bail jumper, is in the club. We see Bo lying in the back seat of the SUV. Hope and Tommy decide to go with the original plan. Tommy pretends he wants to buy the "hot" car and Jesse takes him outside. Hope follows, but is detained by a curious Lucas, who wants to know what she's doing there? In the car, Bo appears, seeming to have the drop on Jesse. But Jesse recognized Hope, knew Bo would show up, and has a gun on Tommy, threatening his life. He makes Bo get on the floor and has Tommy drive them to an alley, where he plans to kill them both. Hope, having gotten away from Lucas, sees the car drive off and follows. Just as Jesse is about to shoot Bo, Hope honks the horn, providing a distraction and enabling Bo to overpower Jesse, save Tommy's life... and get their car back!

While Larry realizes he shot Brady instead of Victor, Nicole frantically drags Brady out of the pool and performs mouth-to-mouth. Victor overhears her say that it was a stupid mistake, but she covers. Once Brady is breathing again, Brady insists he wasn't shot. When he heard the gun go off, he turned, fell into the pool and hit his head. Nicole is very relieved. Victor, armed, heads into the bushes where Larry was, but he has already taken off. Abe and paramedics arrive. Abe first thinks the hit was meant for Victor, but Brady thinks some rough musicians he fired from the Blue Note could have targeted him. Abe will investigate. Victor is solicitous of Brady, warns him to be careful. Brady will, but speculates: what if Victor really was the target of the hit? Meanwhile, Nicole gets a call from Larry. She wants him to lay low. Larry refuses. He wants to go ahead and murder Victor tomorrow!

John and Tony cling to life trapped in the wreckage of Tony's sunken yacht. They've exhausted every possible means of escape and the air pocket in which they're trapped is rapidly dwindling. John and Tony both find it ironic that, after all they've been through, they're going to die together. Tony reminds John that this bomb was meant for him, and had John not been so hell-bent on bringing his half-brother down and followed him onto the boat, he wouldn't be in this mess. They share a moment as Tony admits he regrets being unable to keep his promise to Cassie and Rex to spend the rest of his life making up for the time they've lost as a family. Ultimately, Tony loses consciousness and slips underneath the water. John also passes out and slips into a watery grave, just as we hear the faint sounds of rescue helicopters approaching, but too late...

Shawn meets up with Belle and Philip at Brady's loft. Stealing a moment away from Belle, Shawn reports to Philip about his meeting with Maya. He mentions that he overheard her talking about a ship, but mistakenly believes that she was talking about the ship where they saw Maya, and Philip concurs. Belle overhears and realizes that the guys are keeping secrets from her again. Busted, they confess, and after a tongue-lashing from Belle, they all agree not to keep any more secrets. Tek arrives and breaks the news about Tony's yacht exploding. Belle is rocked by the news of Tony's presumed death, and her thoughts immediately go to Cassie and Rex who have lost their father. Philip must break the news to Belle that John was also on the ship, and Belle screams in horror.

Rex and Mimi arrive back at his room, Rex consumed with worry about Cassie. Mimi tries to comfort and distract him, but he suddenly jumps up and starts furiously sketching on a piece of paper. Miffed, Mimi gets ready to find something or someone else to entertain her, when instead she comes face-to-face with Cassie. Rex and, to a lesser extend, Mimi try to comfort Cassie, who's still mightily distraught over nearly having sex with Lucas before finding out he was her half brother. Cassie and Rex vow to never reveal that Roman and Kate are their biological parents and to continue their lives as DiMeras. Later, as Mimi sleeps in his arms, Rex steals out of bed to continue his sketch, determined to further impress Tony and cement his position in the DiMera family. Alone in the corridor, Cassie, feeling that Rex doesn't need her because he has Mimi, breaks down in tears.

Roman and Kate join Abe and Lexie for an evening out at Tuscany, Abe and Lexie's first date since Theo was born. Maggie joins them as they ooh and aah over Abe's baby pictures. In the ladies' room, Kate compliments Lexie on all that she and Abe have overcome to stay together, and on how she handled Sami. Kate wishes she could handle Sami, and explains to Lexie her fear that her and Roman's differences over their kids could be the end of them. Back at the table, Roman is taken aback when Abe wonders if Roman and Kate have considered children. Roman thinks he and Kate are way past that stage in life. Later, Roman jokes with Kate about them having a child together, and her reaction is as adamant as his - never

As Belle received news about John and Tony, Marlena stopped by the apartment to learn as well. Meanwhile, Sami was upset hearing the news from Lucas who consoled her at his apartment.

However, John and Tony were coming to, after being rescued by the Coast Guard. As they were treated by doctors, the two brothers shook hands confirming the truce that began in the water. But when John asked about his trip and who would have planted the bomb, Tony was offended at being "monitored." John agreed to maintain a certain distance - but warned the ISA might not be so lenient.

At the Kiriakis Mansion, Brady was recuperating - still thinking the gunman had targeted him. As Nicole tried to help him, Henderson announced she had a call from "Mr. Ed." Thinking it was a repairman, Brady intercepted the call, to a silent Larry on the other end of the line. Nicole later returned Larry's call saying she wanted to call off the hit. But Larry said he wanted his own revenge over Victor - as well as wanting Nicole.

Recalling Maya's phone conversation about a boat, Shawn connected her to the explosion. Maya's celebration over Tony's demise was cut short when she heard he had survived. As she prepared to leave Salem, Shawn appeared, enticing her to come to his car. Once there he cuffed her, offering to turn her over to Tony or the ISA. Maya chose the ISA.

And at the Rescue Quarters, John returned to the treatment area to find Tony's bed empty except for a note reading: "See you at home, Brother."

Philip interrogates Maya, but she turns the tables on him and tries to seduce him in the hopes of gaining her release. John takes over the interrogation after he walks in on Philip and Maya in a passionate clinch. John questions Maya about the mysterious goop and picks up on her nervousness when she learns the ISA is having it analyzed. Meanwhile, a subdued Cassie crosses with Philip at the police station and doesn't flirt with him because she now knows they are half-siblings. Philip gives her a hard time, prompting a vulnerable Cassie to burst into tears. Philip apologizes and tries to draw Cassie out, but all Cassie will say is that she'll never come on to him again. Later, at the pub, John comes down hard on Philip for mistakes during the mission. He isn't sure Philip has what it takes to be in the ISA. Feeling like he's playing second fiddle to Shawn both professionally and personally, Philip calls Cassie about a lost compact to try to forget about Belle and Shawn.

At the Brady Pub, Bo and Hope, proud of Shawn's role in bringing Maya down, pester him about his recent adventures. Hearing of Hope's recent adventures, Belle is reminded how she and Hope were almost killed by Larry Welch. John arrives and has an emotional reunion with his daughter. Later, Bo and Hope are intrigued about the mysterious substance that Maya and Tony were after. Bo and Hope decide privately they're going to solve the mystery of the goop.

Tony is glad to be alive after his brush with death, but is now determined to seek revenge against Maya. Tony is furious when he learns Cassie has taken a job at Echelon. Tony insists Cassie quit, but stubborn Cassie argues that if Tony can conduct his business there, she should be able to work there. Tony tries a gentler approach with Cassie, since he's her father, but Cassie angrily pushes him away (because he's not her real father) and remains determined to work at Echelon.

Rex experiences a terrible headache and lashes out at Mimi. Hurt, Mimi leaves, then, deciding to find aspirin for him, interrupts Cassie and Tony. Rex later apologizes, insisting that he needs her. Mimi decides to stay, and Tony tells Rex that his laser did not fare as well as he on the yacht. Everything seems normal when Rex and Mimi share a sexy shower, but Mimi later walks in on Rex as he violently trashes the blueprints of his lost laser.

Jack and Jennifer host an episode of "In the House" with Emily Klein, a sex therapist with shady credentials, who uses dolls that look like Jack and Jennifer. Jack goads the therapist into giving Jack and Jen couples counseling, only to turn the tables on Emily to point out that she has no real qualifications. After they kick the guest off the show, Jack worries about their reputations as reporters. He decides to take over booking the show, and he and Jennifer enjoy satisfying lovemaking.

At the Kiriakis Mansion, Nicole nearly choked when Victor said he was investigating who was behind the shooting. Meeting Larry outside Nicole arranged for the hit that evening at the Blue Note. Victor grew highly suspicious at finding Nicole outside and catching her lying about her whereabouts.

At the Brady Pub, Marlena was overjoyed to see John but in disbelief that he made peace with Tony. She thought it was a ploy to gain Tony's confidence and trap him, but John saw no reason to hold onto the anger. Cassie stopped by to speak with Marlena. She began by confiding but - feeling unwanted - ended in creating a scene and leaving before a concerned Marlena could connect with her. Meanwhile, John and Philip discussed ISA work. - John, angry at Belle's involvement; and Philip, questioning why John dropped investigation of Tony.

Outside Philip had scolded an agitated Cassie for thinking the Echelon job would give her self-esteem. When he asked if she had confided in Marlena about the Echelon, Cassie blurted that Marlena was not her mother but retracted the statement.

Sami woke to find Lucas asleep beside her. Despite continued dreams of wanting him, she was quick to push him out of her bed. Startled by the doorbell, Sami answered to find Tony, who told them of his truce with John. Sami thought Tony's daily flower delivery was from Lucas. She was touched that Tony had arranged it, and that he claimed to think of her as he was drowning. Saying he wanted her on his side, Tony invited her to dinner to discuss her future. When a suspicious Lucas questioned Tony's motives outside, Tony accused him of being jealous. Tony advised that Lucas "listen and watch the master, and learn as I did." Lucas cautioned Sami that she was making a mistake, and admitted he was worried about her being hurt by Tony again.

Calling from the Blue Note, Nicole convinced Victor to come that night by dropping a hint about his hand in sending Chloe away. At the DiMera Mansion, Cassie found Tony was selling the Echelon Club with the agreement that she not be employed there. Her threat to work at another club only brought him anger and frustration as he stressed how much he loved her. And Sami was home dressing for her date with Tony, while he was planning an intimate dinner and a night she would never forget.
